

RCP is offering six ntervention work streams to meet the needs of refugee women and children. Each of the above four intervention projects will contain the following seven work streams as diagrammatically illustrated below.
In providing the above services, international legal instruments guide RCP. The most important are the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 1951 Convention on the Status of Refugees, the 1967 Protocol on the Status of Refugees and the I969 OAU Convention on Specific Aspects of Refugee Problems in Africa, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Child African Charter of the Rights and Welfare of the Child. At country level, RCP uses relevant legislation and policies such as Refugee Act and Regulation and other Immigration Legislations and Human Rights Frameworks.
